VoIP telephony

VoIP call recording built into your operation

We capture calls to your response center's extensions directly from the network, record them and link them to the report they generated. No phone replacement and no changes to your PBX configuration.

Includes

  • Real-time call detection
  • In-system recording and playback
  • Call-to-report linking
  • Private, secure storage

The challenge

The call is the first piece of evidence, and it's almost always lost

In a response center, the call holds the most accurate record of what happened: who reported it, from what number, at what time and in what words. Yet in most cases it isn't recorded, or the recording sits on an isolated device nobody checks.

When a complaint, audit or investigation comes up, reconstructing the call becomes impossible or takes days.

We integrate telephony into the operational system so every call is recorded, identified and attached to its report, available to anyone authorized to listen to it.

The solution

From extension to report: how each call flows

The integration is organized in layers. At the top is the phone system you already have; at the bottom, the operation that uses each recording. In between, capture, processing and storage happen passively on the network.

  1. Layer 01

    Existing phone system

Your PBX, IP phones and lines keep working exactly as before. This is where every call starts.

    • PBX or IP PBX
    • Extensions and IP phones
    • SIP trunks
  2. Layer 02

    Passive capture

A mirror port on the phones' switch sends a copy of the traffic to a capture server, which detects each SIP call as soon as the extension rings.

    • Switch mirror port
    • SIP call detection
    • Incoming call alert
    • No software on the phones
  3. Layer 03

    Recording and processing

When the call ends, the audio is rebuilt, converted to a lightweight format and saved with its metadata.

    • Audio recording
    • Number, extension, time and duration
    • Automatic conversion
    • Optional transcription
  4. Layer 04

    Storage

Recordings are kept in private storage and can only be played through temporary links by authorized users.

    • Private, encrypted storage
    • Retention policy
    • Permission-based access
    • Access log
  5. Layer 05

    Integration with operations

Each recording is tied to the case number of the report it generated and plays back from there, along with the call log and its metrics.

    • Linked to the case number
    • Built-in player
    • History by phone number
    • Answered and missed calls
    • Alerts if capture stops

Your PBX and phone configuration are never modified: capture is a copy of the traffic, not an intervention.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions: VoIP telephony and call recording

Do I need to change my PBX or my phones?

No. Capture is passive: the extensions' network traffic is copied through a mirror port, so the PBX and phones keep working exactly as before.

Does it work with any PBX?

It works with PBXs and phones that use IP telephony over the SIP protocol. During the assessment we review your infrastructure to confirm compatibility.

Who can listen to the recordings?

Only authorized users. Recordings are kept in private storage and played back through temporary links, with a log of who accesses them.

Can it be used without the command center system?

Yes. Call recording and logging can be integrated into other service systems or run with their own lookup module.

Can calls be transcribed?

Automatic transcription can be added as an optional module, depending on call volume and available infrastructure.
